Thanks SNEAUX much for your interest in Sneaux-La. My name is Gená Scobel; I’m the owner and Queen SneauxlaRista here! We are second generation snoBALLERS and have over 15 years experience in the snoball industry.

 

In south Louisiana, snoballs go hand in hand with Mardi Gras and Popeyes fried chicken. When I was just a toddler, two of my aunts had a snoball stand in my grandparents front yard. There was no better treat in the hot summertime than a snoball.

 

When I was 19, my parents bought a snoball stand for my sisters and me to learn business skills and earn some money. Our stand stood in the same very spot in my grandparents front yard where my aunts’ had been many years ago. It just took one short summer for us entrepreneurs to pay them back. SnoBiz was the after school and summertime hangout. We ran SnoBiz for 12 years until Katrina swept it away.

 

For years I wanted to jump back into the business and in the summer of ‘21 I had that opportunity. This time with a new name, new branding, and original Nola flair, we decided to hit the streets to better serve our community. Sneaux-La currently supports youth recreational sports but also caters for private and corporate events, school functions, game days, festivals, and other celebrations through the New Orleans metropolitan and surrounding areas.
